Overseas Births, Marriages and Deaths^**

TheGenealogist.co.uk has an overseas BMD record set from both the GRO and TNA, plus a large collection of overseas war deaths from various sources and "rolls of honour" with biographies and photos. The Overseas BMD Indexes cover the births, marriages and deaths of British Service Personnel throughout the world. The references provided can be used to order an Overseas certificate from the GRO (General Register Office).

Pre-1837 Non-Conformist BMDs^**

Non-Conformist records go back to the mid-1600's when various groups refused to conform to the Church of England and wished to have religious freedom to worship in their own way. These groups include Presbyterians, Congregationalists, Baptists, Quakers, Methodists, Catholics and Unitarians. The number of non-conformists is said to equal the number following the Church of England.
